Floy William "Willie" Mathes, Sr., age 88 of Waller, passed away on April 14, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Floy and Lillie Mathes; brother Lewis Mathes; sister Annie B. Mathes. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie Mathes; son Floy William Mathes Jr. and wife Carol; daughter Kathryn Mathes; sister Judy Kelley; grandchildren William Charles Mathes and wife Angela, Steven Christopher Mathes and wife Joleyn, Michael Anthony Mathes and wife Christina, Joseph Andrew Mathes and wife Monica; great grandchildren Jenna Nicole Mathes, Morgan Rylee Mathes, Samantha Lea Mathes, Amelia Danielle Mathes; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022, from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 2pm at Canon Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wawarofsky Cemetery.
