William Lind, age 87 of Waller, passed away on February 13, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents Conrad and Anna Lind and is survived by his wife Jean Lind; children Donald Mott, Tyrina Gleinser and husband Mike, Pam Clements and husband Dickson, Steve Pennington; grandchildren Rocky Mott, Jr., Faith Mott, Cheldon Mott, Emily Clements, Lewis Clements; as well as other relatives and friends.

In 1952 William enlisted in the United States Army. After serving 1 tour in Korea and 2 in Vietnam he retired in 1972 with the honored rank of Master Sergeant. He went on to become a Certified Hotel Administrator, opening many Hotels from the ground up, then retiring in 1995. Throughout his life William was very passionate about volunteering in his community. In 2009 he was named Waller Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year.

William was a Devoted Husband, Father & Friend.

A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor James Long officiating.
