Weldon Dawson, age 85 of Hempstead, passed away on July 17, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Linton and Martha A. Dawson; wife, Elizabeth Dawson; brother, Harold Dawson; sister Vera Dawson and is survived by son, Mike Dawson; daughters, Lynn Kimble, Kathy Dawson; brothers, Milton Dawson and wife Sandra, Marvin Dawson and wife Shirley; sister, Emma Nell Dawson; grandchildren, Kayle Dawson, Stacey Fisher, Nolan Dawson, Weldon Kimble, Michael Dawson, Eric Dawson; 3 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cypress Masonic Lodge No. 1423 A.F.&A.M., P.O. Box 1505, Cypress, TX 77429.
Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018, from 10-11am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
