Waylon Mixon, age 43 of Houston, passed away on April 8, 2021. He is preceded in death by his mother Yvonne Mixon and grandson Braxton Mitchell and is survived by parents Tommy and Marjorie Mixon; son Kendon Mitchell and wife Makala; brothers Christopher Hooker and wife Cassie, Wendall McKenzie and wife Heather, Eric Howell and wife Deana; sister Rhonda Mixon; grandchild Beckett Mitchell; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 14, 2021 from 10-11am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Interment will be Friday April 16, 2021 at 1pm at Eubank Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, TX.
