Wanda Davis McGrew, age 70 of Hockley, passed away on May 24, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ross and Hellen Davis Sr.; sisters Peggy Becker, Edith Hinze, Hellen Madsen, Linda Parker; and brother Ross Davis.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Stephen Ray McGrew; son Jeffrey Lance Hernandez and wife Heather; daughter Traci Michelle House and husband Roland; brother Ricky Davis and wife Felicia; stepdaughter Heather McCall and husband Gary; stepson Aaron McGrew; grandchildren Anthony Lopez, Justin Lopez, Mandy Lopez, Shelby Hernandez, Cameron Hernandez, Bayleigh Johanson; step grandchildren Reagan Sepulveda, Ryan Sepulveda, Leah McGrew; great grandchild Milanna Goshorn; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Wanda served over 30 years with the Waller ISD and the Cy Fair ISD as a special education teacher. She was also an avid member of the Second Baptist Church in Cypress.

Wanda's greatest loves were God, family and community.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 5-7pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Reverends Mark Sepulveda and Marvin Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
