Walter "Sonny" McDonald, age 85 of Waller passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Marie McDonald; and sisters Jeanette Stark and Shirley Corliss. Sonny is survived by his wife, Raylene McDonald; son, Randy McDonald and wife Melanie; daughters, Kathy Witt, DeDe McDonald; brother Herbert McDonald Jr. and wife Carol; sister, Adell Stanley; grandchildren, Chris Witt and wife Rachel, Tiffany Worland and husband Will, Brandy Moreno and husband Anthony, Lonnie Gautreau Jr., Randi Brogdon and husband Timmy, Layn McDonald; great grandchildren, Christian, Olivia, Gavin, Sophia, River, Hendrix, Dresden, Presley, Harper, Graham, Emmerson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 4-7 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10 am at Canon Funeral Home Interment will follow at Fieldstore Cemetery.
