Walter E. Baker Jr., age 89 of Waller passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leona Baker; wife, Kathleen Baker; brother James Baker and sister Wanda Cutcher. He is survived by his son, Phillip Baker; daughter Kim Baker, sister, Betty Meneley and husband Tyson and grandchildren Chris Tidwell and Brittany Baker.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10am at McNeil Baptist Church, Luling, Texas. Interment will follow at McNeil Cemetery, 14304 FM 1322, Luling, Texas 78648.
