Vera Stimp Martin Izard, age 93 of Lake Jackson, passed away on December 4, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Izard; Mother, Mary Roberta Martin; father Robert Lee Martin; sisters, Ina Mae Martin, Lorene Youell, Bessie Tilley, Marie Teague, Catherine Martin; brothers, Raymond Martin, Jesse Martin, Willie Chipman, Robert Martin; grandson, Gary Player; and is survived by daughters, Geraldine Pagan and husband Tom, Loraine Johnson, Betty Jo Pryor; grandchildren, Cynthia Pounders and husband Curtis, Cheryl Earls and husband Rivers, Andy Player, Sharon Malinowski and husband Brent, Dean Player and wife Lori; great grandchildren, Sharie Critchlow and husband Jeremy, DC Casner, Jesse Casner and wife Dana. RJ Earls, Crystal Earls, Jarek Malinowski; great-great grandchildren, Joseph Critchlow. Shyanne Critchlow and Jordan Critchlow as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at 9am, one hour prior to Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Allen McClure officiating. Interment will be at noon at Fieldstore Cemetery.
