Teckla Eva Wisnieske, born January 5, 1922 of Hempstead, passed away on December 10, 2019 at the age of 97. Preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Stefan Wisnieske; parents Wallace and Josephine Stegent; daughter-in-law Della Wisnieske; brothers and sisters. Survived by sons Marshall Wisnieske and wife Lillian, Stanley Wisnieske, Larry Wisnieske and wife Lenna, Melvin Wisnieske and wife Elizabeth; daughter Jo Ann Meleski and husband Raymond; grandchildren Mark, Steven, Denise, Donna, Pam, Brandon, Melissa, Rachelle, Brian, Adrian, Veronica, Keith, Stefanie, Rebecca; great grandchildren Emilea, Chloe, Whitney, Garrett, Erin, Chase, Cole, Collin, Ryan, Weston, Brianna, Brison, Lilleigh, Kyleigh; great great grandchildren Aubree and Teagan; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday,  December 13, 2019 from 5-8 pm  with a Rosary at 7pm at Canon Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10 am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church with Father Xavier Bilavendiran officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
