Stanley Borak, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 12, 2026, following a long and meaningful life devoted to his family and those he loved.
Stanley was born in May 1932 in Texas to Frantisek “Frank” Borak Sr. and Tilley Betty Klecka Borak. He spent his early childhood in Wharton, Texas, and learned the importance of strength, perseverance, and family from an early age.
In 1978, Stanley met Patsy Christian, beginning a loving relationship that would span nearly five decades. They married on August 31, 1999, in Harris County, Texas, and shared many wonderful years together. Patsy remained his beloved wife and companion until her passing in July 2026.
Stanley was a devoted father and family man. He is survived by his children, Dennis Borak and wife Pam, Horace Borak and wife Tamera, and Darrel Borak and wife Ellen. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Stanley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy Christian Borak; his children, Pam Borak and Dale Borak; his parents, Frantisek “Frank” Borak Sr. and Tilley Betty Klecka Borak; and his siblings, Martha Borak, Annie Borak Paine, Daniel E. Borak, and Georgia Alouise Borak.
Stanley experienced tremendous change throughout his 94 years, but family remained an important part of his life. His passing closes a remarkable chapter in the Borak family’s history. Although he will be deeply missed, his memory and the love he shared will live on through the many generations of family he leaves behind.
