Sherwood Beckley's Obituary
Sherwood Beckley, age 87 of Houston, passed away on September 9, 2015. He is survived by son, Paul Beckley, daughter, Patricia Beckley, Sisters, Eleanor Fleming and Cynthia Winn, grandchildren, Dylan Ottea and Brett Ottea
Sherwood worked for Shell Oil as a lab assistant for over 35 years and moved to Houston in 1972. He kept active in wood working and helping keep the grounds at Grace Bible Church. He enjoyed raising his family and hiking outdoors and camping. His children say they never knew what a hotel room was until they were nearly grown.
Visitation will be Monday Sept 14, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am, at Canon Mathis Cemetery, 17922 Mathis road Waller Texas with Bo Andrews officiating.
