Sharon Kay Terrell was a caring, hard-working wife, mother, and sister. She passed away surrounded by her family on June 8, 2022, at the age of 70 after a long battle with Dementia. Sharon was born in Houston, Texas to Robert (Red) and Velma Morton. She grew up in Northshore and graduated from Northshore High School.
Sharon loved to cook, sew, fish, hunt, and competing in chili and BBQ cook offs. She loved trying to grow roses even though they never took to growing for her. During hunting season she delighted in going camping at the deer lease.
Her love for her grandchildren was outstanding. She would light up at the sight or sound of them and loved to watch them play. She always remarked as to how smart and loving they were.
She had a great love for her dogs and in the end had a stuffed dog she called snoopy with her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Velma Morton and grandson Bradin.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband Fred Terrell; sons David Norman, Steven Norman and wife Amber, James Free and wife Laura; stepson Sampson Terrell II; stepdaughter Theresa Underwood; grandchildren Boe, Jameson, Annaliese, Matthew, Devyn, Aislyn, Dylan, Myles, Isabelle; sister Linda Gilpin and husband Vern; brother Robert L. Morton as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 9 – 11 am. Funeral Services to follow at 11 am, at Canon Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fieldstore Cemetery.
