Sharon Lynn Avery Burger, age 63 of Hempstead, passed away on March 29, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Reese Allen Burger; her parents Bobby and Betty Joyce Avery; and her brothers Kenneth and Johnny Wayne Avery.

Sharon is survived by her daughters Kasie Neel and son-in-law Cannon, Korie Smith and husband Cody; grandchildren Harlea Rae Smith, Sloane Avery Neel, and Reese Avery Neel; nephews Cody Wayne Avery, Austin Drew Avery, Kolby Garret Avery; as well as many great nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 10-11am in the Edmonds Hall at the Waller County Fairgrounds. Funeral Services will follow at 11am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Graveside will follow at 2pm at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Cat Springs, TX.
