Baby Santiago Emmanuel Gutierrez, aged 12 days, passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents into the loving arms of Jesus on December 26, 2023.

Santiago Emmanuel was born on December 14, 2023, at 7:17 a.m. at Houston Methodist West Hospital to Francisco Gutierrez and Deanna Perry. During his short days here on Earth he touched many lives and was a gift to us all. We will remember and love him forever.

Santiago joins his maternal great-grandmother, Consuelo Saldivar, his maternal great-aunt, Amparo Bernal, and his paternal great-grandfather, Fernando Escobar, in Heaven.

Santiago Emmanuel is survived by his parents, Francisco Gutierrez and Deanna Perry of Katy, TX; his siblings, Dominic, Jazmine, Elijah, and twin, Sebastian Emmanuel; paternal grandparents, Francisco and Maria Candelaria Gutierrez of Hockley, TX; maternal grandparents, Adrian and Lorena Saldierna of Katy, TX; aunt Susie (Juan) Vargas of Katy, TX; uncles, Samuel Gutierrez of Hockley, TX, Jacob Perry of Katy, TX, and Adrian Saldierna of Katy, TX; as well as many relatives and friends that love him.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 9-11 a.m. at Canon Funeral Home, 1420 Farr Street, Waller, TX 77484. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at St. Martin de Porres Cemetery, 33102 Haley Rd, Waller, TX 77484.
