Samuel Williams was born in Dayton, TX December 10, 1949, to Richard Switzer Williams Sr. and Pauline (Bishoff) Williams. He passed away on February 3, 2023, in Hockley, TX.

Samuel is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Phil Ray Loomis, Richard Williams Jr.; sisters Mary Doris Wilkins, Susan Green; son Richard Andrew "Andy" Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Paula Williams; sons Samuel E. Williams II, Michael Joseph Williams, Jonathan Nicolas Williams; grandchildren Michael Jared Williams, Nandi Williams, Jacob Williams, Tristan Williams; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Samuel was a police officer with Federal Aviation Administration at Intercontinental Airport for 10 years. He worked for the City of Waller Police Department later where he retired as Police Chief.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2023, from 9-10am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10am with Pastor Mike Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
