Ruby Puckett, age 76 of Hempstead passed away on August 5, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Dean Puckett. Ruby is survived by her son, Ronald T Puckett and wife Suzanne; daughters, Rhonda Kennedy and husband Eric, Ranell Knipstein Dacus and husband Mike, Rochelle Bundren and husband Chuck; nephew, Scott Wilkinson and wife Chanel; grandchildren, Erin Kennedy and wife Mandy, Rachael Goeke and husband Jeffory, Ronnie Knipstein and wife Krissy, Kasey Kennedy and wife Sanci, Ryan Knipstein and wife Colbie, Cody Puckett, Kelly Puckett;
great grandchildren, Ethen Knipstein, Paityn Harrison, Kasyn and Lilly Goeke, Keegan and Aden Kennedy, Eryn Lynn Kennedy, soon to arive - Kiptyn Knipstein and Kynlee Knipstein; brother, Thomas Glenn Shearer and wife Judy; sisters, Patsy Shearer Cook, Glenna Shearer Beck and husband George; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10 am at Chappell Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Danheim officiating. Interment will be at 2 pm Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston.
