Ruby passed away surrounded by those who loved her. Beloved wife to Donald Datray. Cherished mother to Margie Stone (Roger), Ricky Luce (Kim), Terry Rubac (Franklin), Pamela Wollgast (Bill) and Karen Garner.

She leaves a legacy of love that extends to 5 generations.  Grandchildren Angela Robertson (Mike), Roger Stone, Jr. (Tamra), Rickey Luce, Jr. (Sarah), Randall Rubac (Tammy), Amanda Craig (David), Corey Luce (Kathleen), Colby Garner (Condra), Brandon Datray (Haylee) and Joshua Woollard (Alyssa), 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Ruby was truly loved by all that knew her. She had a charm and wit that captured your heart. She enjoyed a cold Dr. Pepper, watching her soap operas, reading a good book, tending to her plants, watching the Texans on Sunday and visiting with friends and family. Family meant everything to her.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Clarence Luce, Taylor Rubac, great granddaughter and Cheryl Luce, daughter in-law.

The love, support and memories you leave us, will comfort us until we meet again. Go rest high on that mountain, mom your work on earth is done, go to heaven a shoutin' love for the Father and the Son.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 11am at Hempstead Church of Christ, 23100 FM 359, Hempstead, TX 77445.
