Ronald Owen Thompson, age 81 of Waller, passed away on November 4, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Dallas O. Thompson; mother Vivian Lea Thompson; brother Brent L. Thompson. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Barbara Thompson; sons Alan D. Thompson, Gavin W. Thompson and wife Mona; daughter Victoria N. Thompson; brothers Lewis D. Thompson and wife Evelyn, Lynn H Thompson and wife T. Lynn, R. Terry Thompson and wife Bonnie, Tommy L. Thompson and wife Bobbie; sister-in-law Caroline Sue Thompson; sister Belinda L. Thompson;  grandchildren Joseph Cooper, Kristen Cooper, Joshua Burns, Alan D. Thompson Jr., Richard Burns, Christopher Thompson; great grandchildren Trent Black, Eleanor Black, Aden Burns-Maxwell, Baily Thompson, Carter Burns, Edison Burns, Bentley Thompson; aunt Melva Henry; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2021, from 4-8pm at DeRidder Funeral Home, 210 N Pine St, DeRidder, LA 70634. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2pm at DeRidder Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cryer Cemetery in Pickering, LA.
