Robert Starr, age 83 of Hempstead passed away on January 4, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Starr; and is survived by his children, Jimmy Long and wife Sue, Vickie Sloan and husband Brian, Bill Long and wife Tammy, Liz Cooke and husband Jim, Gina Milam and Christy Knight and husband Billy; Brother Tad Starr and wife Kate; grandchildren, Hunter and Kortney Knight, Christopher Sloan, Phillip LaFountain, Bobby Long, Christopher and Amanda Deal, Chelley and Cory Long, Scott Cooke and Jared Cash; great grandchildren, Jacob, Carley, Reagan, Cameron, Rhett, Adley, Ryker and Finley.

A Memorial Service Will be held at Canon Funeral Home Monday, January 8, 2018 with Rev. Cary W. Wilkins officiating.
