Robert Thomas Johnson, of Hockley, Texas, passed peacefully in his sleep at his residence on September 6, 2026. He was born on August 16, 1983, in Springfield, Missouri. His passing brings deep sorrow to those who knew and loved him, while also calling to mind a life marked by devotion to family, hard work, service, and a spirit that brought joy to others.

Robert served his country proudly in the United States Army and earned his Honorable Discharge after serving a tour overseas in Korea. He carried that same sense of dedication into his working life, laboring tirelessly as a Road Construction Foreman in the road construction business. He was known as a man who worked hard and gave his best.

Beyond his service and career, Robert will be remembered for the qualities that made him so deeply loved. He adored his children and treasured the time he spent with them. At home, he enjoyed watching cooking shows with his wife, Tiffani, and those simple moments became part of the fabric of their life together. Friends remembered that he had some seriously good dance moves, and the same lively spirit could be seen in the way he was known as the class clown in school.

Above all, Robert’s family was at the center of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tiffani Johnson (Berryman); his children, Devan Fann, Brynna Fann, Allie Johnson, and Brylee “Tootie” Johnson; his mother, Diana Wolfe, and her husband, John W. “Pops” Wolfe, of Hempstead, Texas; and his grandmother, Ruedelle Wolfe. Each of them carries forward cherished memories of his love, humor, and presence, and his memory will remain a lasting part of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Hughes.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Canon Coughlin Funeral Home, 1420 Farr St., Waller, Texas 77484. A second viewing will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Canon Coughlin Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service beginning at  11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Canon Mathis Cemetery, 17922 Mathis Road, Waller, Texas 77484.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jackie Davis, Devan Fann, Austin Howard, Dustin Garney, Jason Colby, Darren Contreras, Jonathan Riemer & Kevin Howard.

Robert Thomas Johnson will be remembered with love for his faithful service, his hard work, his laughter, and the warmth he brought to the people around him. His life touched many, and his memory will be held close always.
