Robb Benton Bashaw, of Waller, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on August 26, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on January 20, 1971, in Houston, Texas to the late Benjamin Dale Bashaw, Sr. & Linnie Janet (Evans) Bashaw.
Robb will be remembered as a man with a practical spirit and a keen eye, always looking for a good deal in the marketplace. He was also well known in the area as a “Shadetree Mechanic,” a reflection of the hands-on skill and resourcefulness that became part of how many knew him. Those qualities, paired with his presence among family and friends, leave a lasting impression on the people and community around him. Robb’s faith in God was a very large part of his life. He was an active member of the Waller church of Christ where he served as a deacon for several years.
Above all, Robb’s life was rooted in family. He is survived by his wife, Natasha Bashaw, by his daughter, Abigail Linnie Bashaw and his sister Julie Henry He is also lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Sheila Leonard. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Together, they carry forward the memory of a husband, father, brother, and loved one whose life touched theirs in enduring ways.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Benjamin Dale Bashaw, Jr. Their memories remained part of his life and are now joined with his lasting remembrance.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Canon Coughlin Funeral Home, 1420 Farr St., Waller, Texas 77484. A funeral service will follow there at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place later that day at 2:30 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery, 4416 FM 230, Lovelady, Texas 75851.
Robb will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by those who knew him best. His memory will remain cherished in the hearts of his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
