Richard Walther, age 91 of Waller, passed away on June 22, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Elizabeth Walther and his sister Janet Polch. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, of almost 67   years; son John Walther and wife Nancy; daughters Julie Murphy, Diane Butterworth and husband Robert; brother Jim Walther and wife Maxine; grandchildren Jeff Murphy, Lisa Murphy, Jason Butterworth, Becky Lorig, Greg Walther; great grandchildren Cheyenne, Savannah, Cullen, Scott; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Richard was an avid animal lover and camper. He and Patricia, along with friends, formed a traveling group and traveled to many places. Richard was a collector of stamps and coins. He loved crafts especially stained glass and was very talented with his hands. He also loved to go out on his boat. After Richard retired from Quintana Oil Company, he drove the school bus for Waller School District.

Richard is in the care of Canon Funeral Home.
