Rachel Kay DeVous, age 56 of Hempstead, Texas passed away on February 2, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents Mark and Priscilla Burch; sisters Mary Alice Sherrill, Francis Holguin; brother Doug Davenport.

She is survived by husband David DeVous; sons Kenny Wendt and wife Ashley, Kaleb DeVous and fiancé  Sarah; sister Jessica Gertson; grandchildren, Liam, Lane and Everleigh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11am to 2pm. Services to follow with Willy Rex officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
