Peggy Yates, age 86 of Waller, Texas passed away on January 24, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Yates, Sr.; sons Michael Yates and Harold Yates, Jr.; parents Dewey and Virgie Fields; siblings Boyce Fields, Billy Fields, Paul Fields, Anna Peters, Armenda Murray and Ilma Bland. She is survived by her siblings Nancy and husband James of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Dewey Fields, Jr. and wife Eula of Abingdon, Virginia; children Roger and wife Margie of Houston, Texas, Joyce and husband Billy of Cypress, Texas, Gary and wife Connie of Waller, Texas, Wayne and wife Laura of Waller, Texas, Joseph Yates and wife Cynthia of Vidor, Texas, Dewey Ray Yates and wife Carolyn of Waller, Texas; grandchildren Jeff Yates, Julie Bragg, Christina Beard, Amanda Jones, Roger Yates, Jr., Danielle Harpur, Melanie Cross, Joshua LeBlanc, Amber Yates, Katherine Tones, Jennifer Knight, Shelby Yates, Emily Yates, Ethan Yates, Joseph Yates, Jr., Billy Yates, Courtney Newlon, and Dewey Ray Yates, Jr.; 30 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 4-7 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11 am at Canon Funeral Home with Joseph Yates, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Fieldstore Cemetery.
