Obituary

Patsy Christian Borak, 74, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2026, fulfilling one of her greatest wishes.

Born on December 18, 1951, Patsy lived a life centered on family and friendship. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family and those closest to her. Those who knew Patsy best also knew she had a feisty side. If she needed to vent, you simply let her, and before long she was right back to being herself. Her sense of humor, resilience, and genuine love for others made her truly one of a kind.

A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Patsy rarely missed cheering on her team and always enjoyed the friendly banter that came with football season. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

To everyone who knew them, Patsy and Stanley were the original "Bud and Cissy." Their special bond and deep love for one another were evident to all who knew them.

Although Patsy was private about her faith for much of her life, in recent years she openly shared her commitment to God. She often found comfort in the promise that one day she would be reunited with her loved ones and dear friends who had gone before her, a hope that brought her peace and strengthened those around her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Christian and Olin C. Christian Sr.; her daughter, Pamela Borak; her son, Dale Borak; her brothers, Gene Christian, Jerry Christian, Olin Christian Jr., and Terry Christian; and her sisters, Diane Kemp, Della Whitaker, Carolyn Brooks, Freeda Lockhart, and Linda Jackson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Borak; her sons, Dennis Borak Sr. and wife Pamela, Horace Borak and wife Tamara, and Darrell Borak and wife Ellen; her sisters, Judy Patterson and Lynn Chaney; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

While our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with so many beloved family members and friends who went before her. She leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories that will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
