Patrick Michael Rex, Sr., age 70 of Plantersville, passed away on May 31, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his wife Janet Lee Rex and parents Paul and Mary Rex.

Patrick is survived by his wife Debra Hendricks; son Patrick Michael Rex, Jr. (Jennifer), daughter Angela Spring Gideon (Jim), step sons William Presley (Lesley), Travis Hendricks (Joy); brothers Paul Rex (Diana), Johnny Rex (Angela); sisters Patricia Wilson-Thomas (Dalton), Ann Bumpers (Jimmy); grandchildren Cam Rider Gideon, Maeleigh Autumn Gideon, Chelsey Nicole Bayless, Elizabeth Lee Rex, Kimberly Paige Rex and Bryan Maxey; step grandchildren Matthew Presley, Madison Presley, Devin Hutchinson, Oliver Granger;  numerous great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Patrick also leaves behind his fur babies Harley, Harper, and Henley.

Patrick worked for the Plumbers Local Union #1968 since 1976 and retired in 2011. He loved his occupation.

He loved his family and friends very much. Patrick was very proud of his property and loved to dance.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday June 6, 2023, at 10am at Fieldstore Cemetery with Pastor Derrick Drake officiating.
