Patricia Louise
Harris
Dec 1, 1931 — Jan 28, 2026
Patricia Louise Hargrove Harris
Patricia Harris, age 94, went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on January 28, 2026. She was born on December 1, 1931, in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Patricia was a gentle, loving soul who lived a life defined by love, service, and faith. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend.
Above all else, Patricia was a devoted follower of Jesus and her faith guided every aspect of her life. She loved to share God's love with anyone that would listen. When she told bible stories, you would have thought she was best friends with the characters as she brought those stories to life to share God's word.
Patricia was very artistic expressing her vision through pen and ink drawings, paintings, quilting and so many other ways. She loved art, music and especially people. She also had a great love for nature and could identify almost all birds, trees, plants and flowers in Texas. She collected artwork, usually handcrafted, as well as photos of her favorite time of day – sunrise.
Patricia worked for the Spring Branch Independent School District for several years before retiring. "Aunt Patty" to her numerous nieces and nephews, was a resident of Navasota, Waller and Houston before her final residence in Waller on the Lower Forty Ranch, with her late husband of 70 years, ("Uncle Punk").
As the sun set on Patricia's life, she is survived by her children: daughter Wanda of Brenham; son Steve and wife Darra; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Patricia was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and her beloved husband, Clarence E. Harris, her son, Clarence E. Harris, Jr. ("Bo"), her grandson, Ray, as well as her brothers Bobby, Melton and Danny.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 9-11am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
