Oscar Harvey Oliver, age 88 of LaPorte, passed away on September 11, 2014. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 62 years, Edna Oliver; and is survived by wife, Lou Oliver and her family, son, Oscar Oliver, Jr. and wife Carol; daughters, Linda Keeton and husband Billy, Bonnie Rushing, Ruby Counts and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Kim Frazier, Lisa Carter and husband Kevin, Angela Poston and husband Marc, Jill Young and husband Dan, Amy Bender and husband Brandon, Richard Counts, Joshua Counts and wife Kristin, Lauren Oliver; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Frazier, Hayden Frazier, Colton Carter, Zachary Carter, Sean Poston, Morgan Poston, Bryson Young, Brayden Young, Banner Young, Kylie Counts, Jared Counts, Alexis Counts and Siena Counts.

Visitation will be Monday, September 15, 2014 from 9 to 11am at Canon Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Services at 11am with Pastor Robert Brantley officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
