Ola Jones, age 69 of Houston, passed away on April 8, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Ola and Cecil Nichols and is survived by her husband William L. Jones; sons Leslie James Jones, Andrew John Jones and wife Sky, Cecil James Jones and wife Amanda; daughters Kathy Johnson, Jackie Sheppard and husband Gary, Ola Faith Lann and husband Derek; sisters Anita Louise Nichols, JoAnn Comeaox; 8 grandchildren; 2 nephews; 1 niece; as well as other family and friends.

Ola was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone. She was very active with James in Boy Scouts and with Faith in the International Order of the Rainbow for girls. She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star as well as a member of the Daughter of the Nile. Ola sewed bears and blankets and visited the Shriner Hospital for Children.

Ola was very active with all of her grandkids and loved each of them very much. She was a loving, caring, selfless person who always had a smile for everyone. She loved her kids and lived for them.

She was a devoted Christian woman. Her husband William was her pride and joy. She loved to travel with her camper to many places. She loved her Mississippi family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 6977 Main St, Houston, TX 77030.

Family Graveside Services will be held Monday April 13, 2020 at Fieldstore Cemetery. A public Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
