Nancy N. Thomason, age 80 of Monaville, passed away on July 17, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her parents Norrel & Marguerite Thomason; brothers Jerry Pilkington  & George Thomason, nephews  David Pilkington & Kevin Thomason.  Nancy is survived by her brother William "Bill" Pilkington; nieces Darla Haygood, Sharon Vaughan; nephews Jeff Willcoxon & Larry Glatts; as well as many great & great great nieces & nephews & friends.

Nancy worked as a Realtor & was  active in the Monaville community for years. She loved adventure traveling & moving to several states over the years.  She loved meeting people & had a special place in her heart for animals.  Nancy owned several horses, dogs & cats & any strays that came to her door were taken to the vet & soon she found a home for them.  She had a compassionate heart & was always concerned about the well-being of others.  Neighbors & friends would call on her if they needed help & she would be there; some referred to her as their "Shero."  She will live on in the hearts of many.

A Memorial Service will be held August 8, 2020 at Canon Funeral Home at 11am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating.
