Merritt Russell Stoll, age 70 of Waller, Texas went to be with the lord on December 2, 2015 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Trisha Stoll; daughter, Michelle Fontaine and husband Trey; sons, Chris and Rusty Stoll and families; grandchildren, Kinsley Fontaine and baby brother Weston, on the way; niece Kathy Glidden and husband Skip; Nephew, Steven Griggs.

Russell served our country in the U.S. Army as a medic, with tours in both Korea and Vietnam. Afterward he was a police officer in Corpus Christi, Texas. After moving to the Houston area, he became a police office in Surfside Beach before beginning a new career as an operating room technician.

He and Trish developed a love for cruising the Caribbean and learning about different cultures. Russell will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his little dog "Mollie", who was always by his side. We find peace in knowing he is no longer in pain and has joined his parents, siblings and other family members in a world of peace, happiness and joy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
