Mary Snow Ragland was born, December 19, 1939, to Robert and Annie (Dinkins) Snow.

She was raised in Waller County, Texas, having attended the Waller Schools. Mary was involved in Waller High School, where she graduated. While at WHS, Mary was In the Band, playing French Horn; She was a Twirler; she played Basketball; and she was an outstanding Volleyball Player making All-State. Years later, she stated, that she turned down a college scholarship, to stay closer to home and family. In Houston she participated in City Leagues qualifying for the first women's Olympic Volleyball Games.

In 2016, Mary was inducted into the Waller Athletics Hall of Fame. She was so honored to walk onto the Waller Football field and be announced as one of the inductees. Mary was married and had one child, her beloved, Donna Lynn Pinto (Wright), she affectionately referred to as Donnie.

Mary was a member of Eastern Star of Bellville; the Daughters of the American Revolution; and Horse associations; also being a Member of Rotary. Mary was a realtor and broker. In Houston, she was a top selling agent for Century 21 of Commercial properties. She often spoke highly of Jim Crowley Realty, where she got her start in the field. She owned her own offices, in Bellville and Brenham. Mary loved selling real estate and finding out things, such as a piece of property being originally part of an old Spanish land grant. She retired in 2017, from Brenham, where she was realtor of the year, at one point. Her plaques were posted proudly on the walls of her office. She loved playing cards; board games, and Genealogy.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna Wright (Raymond "Bubba" Janosky); grandchildren Wade Wright (Dillon Anders), Wesley Wright (Ana), and Warren Wright; brother Donald Snow; sister Joy Smith; brother-in-law Harold Buckley; sister-in-law Elaine Snow; brother-in-law Ray Stanford (Sharon). She also had numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was proud to be an Aunt.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Annie Snow; brother Dwayne Snow; sisters Bobbie Buckley and Barbara Stanford.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 8-10am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Springer Macedonia Cemetery.
