Mary Purvis, age 99 of Hempstead, TX passed away on July 5, 2016. She is preceded in death by husband, Howard Purvis and grandson William Clayborn Barker, and survived by son, Howard Purvis and wife Lynne; daughter, Carolyn Purvis Barker and husband William; sister, Emmalee Rape; great grandson Brody Clayborn Barker.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery in Waller, TX.
