Mary Parker, age 97 of Hempstead, Texas passed away on May 24, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents James A. and Louise Foley; husband Marvin N. Parker, Sr.; seven brothers; two sisters; son Neil Parker, Jr.; grandson Michael Parker, Jr., Jerry Hashaw; great grandson John Cecil Easley.  She is survived by her son Michael Parker, Sr., and wife Thais; daughters Cheryl Thomas and husband Milton, Rosemary Harris; grandchildren Edward Thomas, Toni Thomas, Kevin Parker, Stevin Parker, Kimberley Easley and husband John, Kelly Hashaw, Jason Hashaw and wife Shannon; great grandchildren Rhema Thomas, Lilly York and husband Justin, Andrea Thomas, Emily Parker, Lexi Parker, Cheyenne Parker, Tyler Parker, Kinsley Parker, Jared Easley, Jesse Easley, Makayla Hashaw, Trista Hashaw, Noah Hashaw, Justin Hashaw, Skyler Hashaw; great-great grandchildren Ronan Hashaw and Audrey York; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Mary was a proud Member of The Catholic Daughters of the Americas for 58 years.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Canon Funeral Home with a Rosary following.  Funeral Services will be Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church with Father Xavier Bilavendiran officiating.  Interment will follow at 4:00 pm at St. Martin De Porres Cemetery.
