Mary Esther Moore, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on September 19, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on February 3, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Ermelinda Aguila, and her former husband, Frank Moore.

Mary is survived by her son, Nicholas Moore and his wife, Amanda; her daughter, Julie Moore and her wife, Erica; her brother, Ben Aguila and Ms. Shirley LaFleur; and her cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Everett, and Audrey, along with many other relatives and dear friends.

Mary was passionate about quilting and enjoyed attending quilt shows and retreats, where she spent time with her quilting crew and created heartfelt gifts for those she loved. She was a talented artist who found fulfillment in watercolor painting, crafting, birdwatching, gardening, and traveling. She loved food and delighted in trying new flavors and sharing meals with family. Above all, Mary's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, and the deep friendships she nurtured throughout her life. Her faith was central to who she was, and she lived with kindness, joy, and quiet devotion.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Canon Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Deivi Garcia officiating.
