Marilyn Hicks, age 71 of Hempstead, Texas passed away on January 15, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Zon and Mildred Miller; son Tiger Hicks; granddaughter Amanda Lewis. She is survived by her husband Allen Hicks, Jr.; daughters Angelina Hicks (Stephanie), Dana Hicks; son Damian Hicks (Misti), Canh Hicks (Mai); stepdaughters Tracy Thompson (Marice), Tina Hicks; sisters Ellen Teruel and Sharon Barnett; grandchildren Jacob (Sabrina), Mecca, Jared (Makayla), Angelina, Ryker, Cody (Nesi), April Lewis, P.J., Tiffany, Sophia, Christy, Corey, Josh, Fabian, Ashley, Monique, Jade; numerous great grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11 am at Canon Funeral Home with Ben Tibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Hempstead Cemetery.
