Linda Thayer, age 78 of Hempstead passed away on May 31, 2018. She is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Ruth Vermillion; husbands, Don White, Don Thayer; and is survived by son, David Don White; daughter, Deanne Renee Baillie and husband Richard; brother, Clyde Vermillion and wife Susan; sisters, Verna Coleman and husband Larry, Barbara Frey; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Linda also had a special place in her heart for her great niece Sara Hitchcock, daughter of Wesley and Tina Hitchcock.
Linda was a member of the Order of Rainbow Girls in Houston and a Leader of Girl Scouts.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St Martin De Porres Cemetery
