Lillie Mae "Dolly" Schultz of Waller, TX, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 17, 2025 at the age of 85.

She was born on August 26, 1939 in Monaville, TX, to John and Lillie Stepan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Delbert Lee Schultz, parents John and Lillie Laura (Maresh) Stepan, brother Allen Stepan and his wife, Jeannie, brother Clarence Stepan and his wife, Glen, brothers John Stepan and David Stepan, and sisters-in-law Billie Joyce Stepan and Eunice Stepan.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie Schultz, son Blake Schultz and wife Donna, grandson Connor Schultz, brothers Daniel Stepan and Roy Stepan, sister Betty Jean Hoff and her husband, Herman, brother Billy Joe Stepan and his wife Kathryn, brother Donnie Stepan and his wife, Martha, sister-in-law Sue Stepan, as well as numerous family and friends.

Dolly attended grade school in Monaville and graduated from Waller High School in 1957. She married the love of her life, Delbert, on February 23, 1958. She was a member of Waller Baptist Church where she participated in many aspects of church life, such as teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and helping with church social activities. She retired from Waller ISD in 1990. In retirement, Dolly enjoyed traveling across the United States with Delbert in their RV, as well as traveling internationally on many occasions.

She also enjoyed playing games, walking, Square Dancing, and socializing with family and friends. She was a breast cancer survivor and participated in Relay for Life as long as she was able. When her grandson, Connor, was born in 2005, she started scrapbooking as a hobby and created many books chronicling his early life.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home, 1420 Farr Street, Waller, Texas, on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00am – 11:00am. The funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00am with Pastor Blake Nichols officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at SilverCrest Assisted Living and Memory Care, and Altus Hospice for the care and compassion they provided to Dolly during these past several months.
