Leroy W. Ledgerwood III, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, age 68 of Cypress, went home to be with his Lord on February 7, 2022. He passed on at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Roy had a long and successful career as a research engineer with Baker Hughes, and was also a prolific Bible scholar and teacher for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Marian Ledgerwood Jr.  He is survived by his wife Sharon Ledgerwood; son Bill Ledgerwood IV and wife Melissa; daughters Ellen Ledgerwood, Suzanna McKeel and husband David, Alisha Whitelock and husband John Andrew, Erin Rauf and husband Jameel; sister Ruthe Warren and husband Jim; 13 grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday February 23, 2022, at 2pm at Cypress Bible Church, 11711 Cypress North Houston Rd., Cypress, TX 77429 with Pastor Ken Neumann officiating.
