Leo Thomas Cavanaugh, age 90 of Waller, Texas passed away on June 10, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Mary Cavanaugh; wife Theresa Gay Cavanaugh; and siblings.

He is survived by his sons Thomas Michael and wife Paula, Timothy John and wife Brenda, Patrick William and wife Michelle; daughters Debra Bennett and husband Bruce, Melody Dodd, Kelly Dodd; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 5-7pm at Canon Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1pm at St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Christopher Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Fieldstore Cemetery.
