Laberta Cooper Purvis, age 96 of Waller passed away on June 10, 2018. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Louise Cooper, son, Harvey Purvis, 15 brothers and sisters including Lucille Martin of Waller; and is survived by sons, William Griffin Matthews and wife Barbara, Kyle Kagawa Purvis and wife Kathy; daughters, Lila Sue Davis and husband Joe, Celeste Mileski; grandchildren, Patricia Jones, John Matthews, Dixie Latiolais, Eileen Jarman, Lamar Davis, Joe B. Davis III (Trey), Justin Blake Davis, Ricky Savell, Lisa Moore, Lori Kana, Leslie Savell, Tonya Rivera, Terri Riccardelli, Tarina Purvis, Keri Beth Kagawa, Kristin McLaren; daughter-in-law, Jo Purvis, as well as numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Waller Baptist Church, P.O. Box 406, Waller, TX 77484.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10 am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Blake Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
