Kelly Wesley Cromeans, age 50, of Waller went to be with his Lord and Savior October 31, 2017, in Tomball, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary W. Cromeans and is survived by his mother, Ann Sorsby (Walter), sons, Kelly Ryan Cromeans of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kirby Cromeans and Tyler Cromeans (Aeriel) of Austin, twin sister, Kim Ingram (Gerald), as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and a host of cousins.

Kelly was born in Houston, Texas on April 4, 1967. He attended Holloman Elementary in Waller before moving to Cypress where he graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 1985. He joined the US Army and first served in combat in Panama during the overthrow of Manuel Noriega. After serving in Honduras, he was deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious achievement and leadership during combat operations in Iraq and control of the Euphrates River Valley. Kelly was very proud to have had the opportunity to serve his country and was very fond of all of his fellow veterans. After being discharged from the military, Kelly began working at the Harris County jail as a jailer while attending the University of Houston Police Academy. After graduation he worked as a Harris County Deputy Sheriff for 18 years. After retirement he moved back to Waller where he loved spending time with his beloved dog, Smokey.

Visitation will be held at Canon Funeral Home on Sunday, November 5th, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 6th at 2:00 pm at Canon Funeral Home, 1420 Farr St., Waller, Texas. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
