Judy Lynne Brejcha, age 81 of Waller, passed away on November 27, 2024.
Judy grew up in Waller and married her high school sweetheart, Robert Brejcha, a Waller Bulldog football player. She was a Homecoming Duchess and was voted Best Mannered in high school. A talented musician, Judy loved playing the piano and even served as the church organist. She earned her teaching degree in piano from the Art Publication Society in St. Louis, Missouri.
Judy was also a Rainbow Girl and later became a Lioness in the Sugar Land Lions Club, where she served as the bookkeeper. Early in her career, Judy worked for the Howard Hughes Company, but spent the majority of her working years as the bookkeeper for Hart Heat Radiator.
Judy was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to caring for the people she loved, always putting others before herself.
She is preceded in death by her parents Richard Alexander, Clara and Joseph Milam Phillips; her husband Robert Charles Brejcha; sisters Dolores Edwards, Jean Prigmore and husband Lee.
Judy is survived by her daughters Donna Lynn Maxey, Patricia Annette Hicks and husband Zack; grandchildren Nicole Marie McDonald (Donnie), April Christine London (Samuel III); great grandchildren Stacy, Lacey, Scarlett, Rebecca, Elizabeth; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 8-10am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10am with Pastor Art Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
