Judith Jozwiak
Kulhanek
Nov 7, 1939 — Aug 26, 2021
Judith Jozwiak Kulhanek, age 81 of Waller, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2021, after a courageous battle with bladder cancer.
Judith was born on November 7, 1939. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Louis Jozwiak and Julia Leshikar Jozwiak, and her husband Carl David Kulhanek, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Carl David Kulhanek, Jr. and wife, Linda; daughter, Robin Kulhanek Day and husband, Stephen, and grandson, Tyler Christopher Day; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
She was born in Thrall, Texas and grew up in Sealy, Texas, where she eventually met her husband. She moved to Houston to raise her family. Finally, she moved to Waller to enjoy her retirement years with her husband.
Shortly after graduating high school, Judith started her career working with Exxon in the '60s; and then began her profession as a court reporter in 1972, working for Harris County until 2018 until the age of 78. Throughout her career, she was involved in numerous associations and active in her community.
Judith was an amazing wife, mother, but best of all, a grandmother to her one and only grandson, whom he called, "Great Granny." She enjoyed being with her family and friends; but most importantly, she enjoyed being the best "Football Granny" to her grandson throughout the years. She will be missed dearly by not only her family, but by those whose life she touched.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021, for 5-8 p.m.; and funeral services will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Canon Funeral Home in Waller, Texas, with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at St. Martin De Porres Cemetery.
