Joyce Katherine Peterson, passed away on May 30, 2016. She was born February 1, 1937 in El Paso, Texas to James and Marjorie Baskin. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Lynwood Peterson; her four children, Christina Stephan, Ralph Delano Carter II, Katharine Marie Fritz, and Robert Von Carter; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 1-2pm followed by a Funeral Services at 2pm with Rev. Kelly McIntosh officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Waller County Historical Society, P.O. Box 438, Waller, TX 77484.
