Joyce Moerbe, age 80 of Waller passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. She was born in Seminole Oklahoma on January 31, 1937, to Derwood and Celestine Hughes. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herbert J. Moerbe, son, Robert Michael Moerbe, mother, Celestine Emerick; father, Derwood Hughes; brother, Derwood Alvis Hughes and step-son Wayne Moerbe. She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Williamson and husband Danny, Brenda Blalock and husband Harold and Tina Leithner and husband Brad; step-sons, Dale and Keith Moerbe; grandsons, Zane Williamson and wife Suzanne, Shane Williamson and David Frey; granddaughters, Krysta Dozier, Elizabeth Muchow and husband Scott and Amanda Leineweber; great grandchildren, Kaleb Williamson, Averi and April Frey, Audrey Dozier and Jacob Osbourne; sister Rachel Emerick as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2pm at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church,19361 FM 362, Waller, Texas 77484 with Pastor Henry Wied officiating.
