With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Joann Ortega on February 6, 2026.

Joann was a hardworking, caring, and loving mother whose warmth and way of connecting with others brought joy to everyone she met. Her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will always be remembered.

She will be deeply missed by her surviving son, John C. McAndrews; her daughter-in-law, Anabeth A. McAndrews; and her cherished grandson, Freddy M. Carrillo. Joann is also survived by her brothers, Mike Ortega, Randy Ortega, and Tiodoro Ortega Jr.; her sisters, Janie Ortega; twins Gloria and Floria Ortega; and Lisa Lopez; along with many other beloved family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tiodoro and Maria Ortega; her brothers, Eddie and Edward Ortega; and her sisters, Ramona and Mary Ortega.

Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5-7pm with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Canon Funeral Home.

Joann's love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
