James Izard, age 86 of La Grange, TX passed away on September 17, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Junius Perry and Thelma Lee Izard; wife Lorine Izard; brothers Clarence Vernon Izard, Ernest Perry Izard, Sr., Norman Izard; sister Dorothy Smith. James is survived by son Michael Izard and wife Tracy; daughter Kathleen Izard and husband Roger Rutledge; grandchildren Samantha Izard, Amanda Hamill, Cheyenne Izard, Lindsey Izard, Taylor Thomas and wife Charlene, Tara Smith and husband Kevin; 10 great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday,  September 22, 2019 from 4-6 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10:30am at Canon Funeral Home with Reverend Ernest Izard officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
