James J. Bonds, age 89 of Hockley, passed away on November  18, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, and great-great grandson Jace Bonds and is survived by his wife Susan Bonds; sons James Edward Bonds and wife Desirea, Glen Ray Bonds and wife Lisa, Ricky Lynn Bonds and wife Becky; brother James Lee Bonds and wife Linda; sister Susan Gertrude Fenwick and husband Sonny; grandchildren Samantha Crownover, Lacy Bonds, Bradley Bonds and wife Kelli, Chuck Bonds and wife Paula, Jon Bonds and wife Ashley; great grandchildren Kyndal Crownover, Korbin Lewis, Cody Young, Brayden Bonds, Brinley Bonds, Daisy Bonds, Breanna Bonds, Trent Bonds, Cory Bonds and wife Aryana; great-great grandchild Atlas Bonds; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November  22, 2020 from 4-6pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 23, 2020 at 10:30am at Canon Funeral Home with Gary Kana officiating. Interment will follow at Fieldstore Cemetery.
