Jake was born on October 23, 2000 to Scott and Joanne Gregory.  On September 25, 2021, just short of his 21 ^st birthday, Jake gained his Heavenly wings and flew into the welcoming arms of his family that passed before him, his grandma Janie Rochen, papa Arthur Gregory, nephew Graysen Gregory, his uncle Bubba, Eugene Riemer, Jr., and our beloved dog of 14 years, Bubba.

Jake leaves behind his parents, Scott and Joanne; sister Jenifer and Greg Deutrich; brother Buddy and Samantha Gregory; grandparents Freda and Wilbert Wendt and Ervin and Jean Rochen; nephews Ashton and Ethan Deutrich; nieces Maci Deutrich and soon to arrive Alyson Gregory; aunt Sharon Riemer; uncles Steven Rochen, David and Glenda Gregory and Kenneth Gregory; his FLCs, Kimberly and Jeremy Imhoff; Kilee and Jase; Jessica Riemer; Jarrett Curry; Candyce Rochen; Tiffiny and Jorge Rodriguez; Jayden and Kennedi; Duane and Carrie Gregory; Ava; Brandon Gregory and Vincent Gregory; along with numerous other family members and friends.

Jake's smiling face and playful personality will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2021 from 9am-12pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 1, 2021 at 12pm at Canon Funeral Home with Ed Noack officiating. Interment will follow at St. Martin de Porres Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers we are doing something very special as a family to keep Jake's memory and passion alive. It also goes with his helpful and giving back personality. In honor of Jake we ask if you feel compelled or the want to contribute flowers or arrangements, please consider donating instead. This donation can be made directly to The Jake Gregory Memorial Scholarship Fund that is set up in Jake's name. The goal of the scholarship is to raise money that will help future Hempstead FFA Grand Champion Rabbit Winners. They will receive a scholarship from The Gregory family in honor of Jake Lawton Gregory. Our hopes are that this will continue for years to come.
